Today's episode opens with a funny story about Ruha's inability to communicate when she knows exactly what she meant and what do you mean you can't read my mind? But the story ends with a new favorite catchphrase courtesy of her cousin Andrew, "Raise Hale, Praise Dale." Naturally, we're adding that to a greeting card.

Then we slid into a hilarious chat about our husbands and their very unique communication styles. Joe and James got ungently roasted for either saying too little or way too much. Bekah even downgraded Joe from “great freaking guy” to “okay freaking guy” for not listening to the podcast - on which he was an actual guest. The betrayal!

Then we move right into a classic Teen Magazine Quiz to prove if your best friend really is your best friend after all - We struggled our way hilariously through some Gen Z terminology that Bekah kindly translated for Ruha, who does not have a teenager in her household. But not to worry because it turns out, we're basically soulmates. We're breathing a deep sigh of relief, and taking the quiz's advice to start making joint retirement plans.

After that we get really hungry choosing dish after dish of buttery, savory, cheesy pastas - sadly we only get to choose one out of every four dishes, and this goes on for long enough that Bekah gets angry about shrimp tails and Ruha eats a bag of gummies to tide her over. Ruha went for vodka farfalle and burrata pasta, while Bekah stuck with classics like spaghetti and chicken parm. BuzzFeed got our signs totally wrong - but the descriptions were weirdly accurate anyway. It's a tasty feast for the eyes you've got to experience for yourself.

We wrapped things up with "Spots Playground," where we share recent finds and snacks. Ruha discovered honey-infused gummy snacks called B-Up at Target, and Bekah raved about a s’mores pie from a German brewery that "knocked her socks off."

This episode has it all - food, fun, and the kind of stupid nonsense that really gives you a reason to stop doom scrolling.
